Yes, it's really frustating to not have more to read about their future, I already searched for reasons about this short story without found one (I found your journal by this way XD)

The end doesn't looklikes end, more as a "to be continue"...

they both(author and artist) managed too much to build such a complex and rich world (I mean the potential of characters, context, politicals) to cut it off so quickly ?
They must have been stopped for some economics reasons...

It can't be helped (as I saw often on manga and Manhwa ^^").
